Today we are up to more than 35 registrations for the first ever Start Up Camp Canberra!  We are very excited by the interest in this event and are already getting questions about next year's!  Officially, there are no plans yet, but keep emailing us with your expressions of interest.

I can hardly wait to meet the amazing and talented young people (and a few not so young) that will be at SUC Canberra starting on Friday.  We've got all the major innovation hubs in Canberra covered:  ANU, UC, CIT, AIE, NICTA.  We also have a number of entrepreneurs and folks who are in a range of occupations-all of whom are passionate about being part of a web start up venture.

I've had some questions about whether it's OK to pre-form teams or work on specific ideas.  That is certainly OK.   But don't feel like you have to.  We are going to facilitate team formation and an idea brainstorming session starting on Friday.  So, if you'd rather just 'go with the flow'-that is perfectly fine.

Speaking of Friday--we'll start serving dinner at 6.30 so please try to be at the Innovation Centre no later than 6 so that you can register and get settled before we kick things off at 7.  Don't forget that we aren't able to cater for special dietary needs so if you need to bring your own food please do so.  You will also be able to purchase some items from the Retro Café in the Innovation Centre.
